Creating a new learner

To add a new learner record, first go to the learner list and select Create.

In the first window, enter the necessary personal details and select Continue.

In the next window, some details will already be entered based on the Qualification Plan that you have chosen. Enter any other necessary details in the four tabs:

  • Programme – This tab records various ILR and programme fields.

  • Apprenticeship Costs – This tab records the Training and Assessment costs and the payment schedules for each.

  • Employment – This tab records the learner's employment status both before and on their start date.

  • Learner – This tab records personal and contact details for the learner.

Once you are done, select one of the Save options. You will be informed if you have left any mandatory fields blank.

  • Save – This will save the learner and take you to a window where you can add further details. This window is explained below.

  • Save and Close – This will save the learner and return you to the learner list.

If you have chosen Save, use the window to link the learner to the necessary officer records and complete any user defined fields. Select Save when you are finished to return to the learner list.
