In PICSWeb, the locations of User Defined Forms (UDFs) are customisable, meaning that there is no one location where you can expect to find UDF fields. If you are having trouble finding the relevant UDF fields in your officer records, we recommend the following steps:
1. If you do not know the specified location for the UDF in the officer record, you will need to find it in PICSWeb Configuration. If you have Database Admin permissions you can do this yourself, but if not you will need to ask a PICSWeb administrator to do so for you. In the Configuration section on the side menu, first go to Forms > User Defined Forms to view the full list of UDFs.
2. Next find the relevant form in the list and make a note of the Locations in PICSWeb. For officers, the following locations are available:
Details β The Details panel at the left-hand side of the Officer Summary.
Additional Details β Additional in the Officer Summary.
Summary Additional Forms β A dedicated Additional Forms tab in the Officer Summary.
3. Any UDF fields in the specified location will be indicated with a pencil-and-ruler icon. If you visit the location and still cannot see any UDF fields, be aware that if no values have been entered against UDF fields, those fields will not be shown. To view the UDF in the officer record, you may need to Edit the appropriate location and enter some values first.
