Depending on whether any instances have been created for a WebForm, the editing process will be different.
If a WebForm has not yet had any instances, you will be able to find it in the WebForm List in Forms Configuration and select ... > Edit. This will open the WebForm builder where you can make any changes as normal. Select Actions > Save from the top-right corner once you have made any changes to confirm them.
However, if a form has had instances created, you will not be able to edit the WebForm, as it will have already been used to capture data. This will be indicated by a banner at the top of the WebForm builder.
If you want to make changes, you will instead need to select Actions > Clone and Retire from the top-right of the WebForm builder.
This will make the current WebForm Retired and create a clone of the form with no instances. Any instances of the original WebForm will not be affected by this change. You will need to confirm before the form is cloned and retired.
You will then be taken to the WebForm builder for the new WebForm, where you can make your changes as explained above.
The cloned form will be displayed in the WebForms list with the Version number increased by 1 from the original form.
Retired forms can be viewed using the Status filter at the top of the WebForm list.
