How do I print the ILR?

You can print an ILR form from PICSWeb using our document generation function. Note that this is a different feature to our ILR Exporter, which is used to produce the export file you will upload to the ESFA.

First, a user with Database Administrator permissions will need to upload a file to use as the ILR form template. This is done in the Document Templates section of Lists and Types Configuration.

A template file for the ILR is available in our Document Template Library.

Once the template has been uploaded, go to the Learner List and use the tickboxes to the left of each row to choose which learners you want to include in the ILR. The top tickbox can be used to select or deselect all learners in the current view.

After this, select Update All > Generate Document.

In the new window, choose your ILR template, enter a Name and select Run.

The ILR print will then begin. Once the process is finished, the batch ILR will be added to the Available Reports page to download. Individual learner ILRs will be available in the Files tab of each learner record.

You will also be emailed to inform you that the ILR is ready.

For more information, take a look at the help pages for Creating a New Document Template and Generating Multiple Documents from a Record List.
