You can use the Guided Learning Hours (GLH) data from a session attendance record to inform the Off the Job hours logged in a learner’s Contact and Learning Hours tab.
You will first need to record attendance for the session, overriding the default GLH if necessary.
After you have saved the attendance values, you can create the OTJ hours from the session from one of two locations:
Selecting … > Create OTJ Hours by a session in a session list.
Selecting Actions > Create OTJ Hours from the Attendance tab of a Session Summary.
This will open the window shown below, which lists all learners with an attendance value recorded for the session. For each learner, the following details are shown:
Name
Attended value
Session GLH
OTJ Hours – By default, the value in the Session GLH column will be used to define the OTJ hours that are created. However, if necessary you can enter a custom OTJ Hours value here.
To create OTJ hours, use the tickboxes to choose which learners you want to apply the hours to and select Save. The hours will then be recorded in their Contact and Learning Hours tab.
