The SMS integration is available to all PICS customers and is used to generate text messages from PICSWeb to Learners, Applicants, Organisations and Officers.
Before you can set up the integration in PICSWeb, you will need to create an account with Twilio and obtain an AccountSID and AuthToken from them. You will also need to make sure that your account is topped up with the necessary credits for your messages.
Once you have done this, a Database Administrator needs to go to Integrations > SMS from the PICSWeb side menu to open the SMS Summary page.
In here, select Settings and switch on Integration Enabled, then enter your AccountSID and AuthToken. Select Save to finish.
You will now be able to generate SMS messages for the records named above using the SMS icon in their record summaries.
