For any ILR 'Learning Aims' which started on 01/08/2023 or later, that are reported as part of an Apprenticeship Standard (ILR Funding Model 36, ILR Programme Type 25), Skills Bootcamp (Funding Model 37), Other Adult (Funding Model 81), or Non Funded (Funding Model 99), those learning aims must belong to the LARS Validity Category “3: All Class Code Categories”.
When searching for ‘Qualifications’ on the Find a Learning Aim website, your search results can be filtered to the ‘Category’ of “All Class Code Categories” using the left-hand search filters (leaving only qualification search results that meet this requirement).
Within the ‘Category’ section of a qualification’s details on Find a Learning Aim, the Category of “3: All Class Code Categories” must be present, and shown to still be valid, in order for that qualification to meet the ‘Validity Category’ requirements of this ILR validation rule.
If a qualification is not included in the Category of “3: All Class Code Categories”, then that qualification is unsuitable to be returned as an ILR ‘Learning Aim’ for those learners, using that ILR ‘Funding Model’ value.
This rule doesn’t apply to aims with the ADL ‘Advanced Learner Loans’ FAM, recorded in ‘Aim FAM’.
