To start with, you should check that the correct EPA Organisation has already been selected for that apprentice:
To do so, edit the 'ILR Data' section of the learner's "ZPROG001" ILR Programme Aim, and check that the correct EPAO has been selected (for the "EPA Organisation" drop-down field in this area).
If the correct EPAO is not available to select in the "EPA Organisation" field, then you will need to go to the 'Organisations' list in PICSWeb, and use the "Create" button in the top-right corner, to add this EPAO to the system.
The 'Organisation' record you create for the EPAO will require the 'Role' of "EPA Organisation" (which makes that Organisation selectable in the "EPA Organisation" ILR field), and it will also require the correct "EPA Organisation ID" to be recorded (this value is what will be exported on the ILR, identifying those learners' EPAOs to the ESFA).
If you're unsure what the correct "EPA Organisation ID" for the learner's EPAO would be, this can be identified within the "End-point assessment organisations on the apprenticeship provider and assessment register" spreadsheet, which is hosted on the ESFA's Finding an end-point assessment organisation guidance repository.
If you still receive an "EPAOrgID_01" validation error, despite having selected an 'EPA Organisation' for that learner's "ZPROG001" Programme Aim (with the correct "EPA Organisation ID" entered in that Organisation record's details); then this is likely to mean that the EPA Organisation in question is not yet registered to deliver end-point assessments for that particular Apprenticeship Standard.
To check this, you can consult the "List of Standards" spreadsheet, also hosted on the ESFA guidance repository linked above.
Unless the EPA Organisation's name is listed, on the same row as the Standard you're delivering, that 'EPA Organisation' is not valid to return for learners on that Standard.
