My order has stopped uploading

Thanks for your order!

The upload should be a fast experience with two stages:

  1. Image Preparation - approx 1 second per image

  2. Upload - approx 1-5 seconds per image in quick succession

If your upload has stalled close the App properly and re-open it.

Watch this video or follow the steps below:

  1. Close the app properly by swiping up from the base of your phone to show a reel of your open apps

  2. Swipe through the open apps and find Picture Postie (you will probably be surprised at the number of open Apps. I always am!)

  3. Put your finger on Picture Postie and Swipe the App upwards to close it properly

  4. Go back to your main phone screen, and open Picture Postie again

  5. You will be prompted to continue with your order

  6. Follow the prompts to upload. This should fix the issue.

    NOTE: If the above does not solve the issue, it may be that images in your order have not downloaded from iCloud to your device properly. This includes images in shared albums.

Try the following if steps 1-6 do not work:

  1. Open your camera roll and swipe through the images that you have popped in your order.

    1. If they have optimised back into iCloud, swiping through them will download them back to your device properly.

      1. You will see a small time-wheel appear on each image in the bottom right and after a few moments, it will download.

  2. Re-open Picture Postie

  3. You will be prompted to continue with your order

  4. Follow the prompts to complete your upload

In the unlikely situation that your order still hasn't uploaded:

  1. Turn your phone off and restart it

    1. Re-open Picture Postie and continue with your order. If this doesn't work:

  2. Check, your phone is on the latest iOS software

    1. You can check this by going to the Settings App on your phone

      1. Select General

      2. Select Software Update - update your software if an update is available

  3. You are on the latest version of Picture Postie

    1. Check by going to the App Store and searching Picture Postie

      1. Update the Picture Postie App if there is an update available

We have a 99% upload rate, however sometimes tech is like a little person having a tantrum and you can't quite put your finger on why! If you are still having trouble after trying the above pointers, let us know. We want you to have a great experience. That's what the App has been designed to do!
