How to configure a Toast integration

Everything you need in our dashboard to begin with the Toast integration (POS)

Integrating

1: The integration must be formally requested via email first to your account manager or main point of contact at Leat to begin the process. If possible, include the following information in your request:

  • Identifying information about the restaurant, such as the restaurant group, or the name and address of a restaurant location within the group.

  • At what date and time would you like your loyalty integration to be turned on? (Please provide a window of time and ensure request is made 5 business days prior to the enablement date.)

  • Specify if your integration will have multiple components (such as loyalty and gift cards, or loyalty and online ordering)

2: Your contact will then begin the integration process and keep you informed.

Configuring promotions and benefits

Once active, you will find the configuration options for each individual reward or voucher after selecting it and then navigating to the ‘advanced’ tab. This is where you can set up the logic that will be applied at the actual POS.

These are the configuration options:

Toast: Discount Amount (Input: Number to be applied to Toast: Discount Type)

Toast: Discount Type (Input: Percentage or Monetary)

Toast: Item Picking Priority

base.toastMaxDiscountAmountLabel (Optional: If maximum discount is desired)

Toast: Menu Items (Input: Choose menu items that are eligible)

Toast: Selection Type (Input Options: Buy One Get One Free, Check or Total Bill, Specific Item, Many Items)

Bugs

Please reach out to our support if your customers are facing any problems at the POS but make sure your rewards/vouchers are properly configured first under the ‘advanced’ tab.
