When you upgrade to a new iPhone, you can easily keep all your Pillow data, including sleep sessions, notes, moods, and audio recordings. Pillow does not use accounts, so all data is stored on your device and—if enabled—backed up securely to iCloud.
1: Set Up Your New iPhone
Make sure your new iPhone is set up with the same Apple ID you used on your previous device. This ensures your iCloud data is available.
2: Enable iCloud Sync
On your new iPhone, open the Settings app.
Tap your Apple ID at the top.
Tap iCloud → Apps using iCloud.
Make sure Pillow is turned ON.
3: Enable Sync in Pillow
Open Pillow on your new iPhone.
Tap the Settings icon (top right).
Scroll down and make sure Sync with iCloud is enabled.
4: Verify Your Data
After setup, Pillow should automatically download your sleep data from iCloud. Depending on the amount of data, this may take a few minutes. To verify:
Open Pillow → Calendar icon → check if your past sleep sessions appear.
Notes & Tips
If you have many audio recordings, these may take longer to appear since they are larger files.
If data does not appear after some time, ensure both devices are connected to Wi-Fi and that iCloud has enough free space.
If you manually transferred your iPhone using Quick Start or a full iCloud backup, your Pillow data may already be copied over.
