I Can’t Start a Session on the Apple Watch
Updated over a week ago

If you press “Start” in Pillow on the Apple Watch and the app does not respond please try the following solutions and recommendations:

Ensure Pillow on the Apple Watch has updated successfully after a new version of Pillow has been released.

When a new version of Pillow is available on the App Store, iOS will try to automatically update the app on the iPhone and the Apple Watch. However, there are cases beyond our control when Pillow on the Apple Watch fails to update. In those cases please try to uninstall and re-install Pillow on your Apple Watch and restart both devices.

Force quit Pillow on the Apple Watch.

Follow these steps to force close Pillow on the Apple Watch: 1. Press and hold the side button (the button just below the Digital Crown) until the shutdown screen appears. 2. Let go of the side button, then press and hold the Digital Crown.

If more than one Apple Watch is paired with your iPhone ensure that you are using the one that is currently active.

Pillow on the Apple Watch cannot start a session with an Apple Watch that is not active and only one of your paired Apple Watches can be active at a given moment. You can check which one is active from the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

Un-pair and then pair again the Apple Watch.

If none of the above solutions resolve the problem, please un-pair your Apple Watch and pair it again.

IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend that you un-pair and then set up your Apple Watch as a new Apple Watch. If you restore from a backup, the problems might be carried over to the Apple Watch again.
