Troubleshooting iCloud Issues
Updated over a year ago

Pillow uses Apple's iCloud to store and synchronize your data between your devices. iCloud is a service provided by Apple and we do not have control over that service.

If Pillow stops synchronizing your data please check the following troubleshooting steps:

Check the Apple System Status page in case iCloud is down.

Sometimes Apple's services are unavailable for technical reasons.

  1. Make sure the status for all iCloud services is green.

  2. If the status is not green please wait until all issues are fixed and try again.

Make sure you have enabled iCloud synhing in Pillow:

1. Open Pillow on your iPhone/iPad. > Tap on the "Settings" icon in the top right corner.

2. Scroll down and make sure "Sync with iCloud" is turned ON.

Note: If you are trying to synchronize data between two or more devices, please make sure that your devices are set up with the same Apple ID.

Make sure your device has enough storage space.

iCloud synchronization will not work if your device is low on storage space. Please make sure that your device has at least 5-6 GB of storage space and try again.

Make sure you have enabled iCloud for Pillow in the "Settings" app:

1. Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone or iPad (the one with two cogs).

2. Tap on your name at the top.

3. Go to "iCloud". → Make sure the switch for Pillow is turned ON.

Ensure that your device isn't low on battery.

If you have enabled iCloud for Pillow, please note that syncing may be disabled by iOS to reserve battery. Ensure that your device isn’t low on battery or in Power Save mode.
