How Can I Create a Tracking Preset?

Where can I set my alarm? I need soothing music to fall asleep, how can I make it play? I want a mode that records sounds.

In order to start tracking your sleep with Pillow, you will first have to set up your preferred sleep tracking preset. To do so:

  1. Open Pillow on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Tap on the alarm clock icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.

  3. Tap on the plus ( + ) symbol.

  4. Select the time you would like Pillow to wake you up by tapping on the time and then use the numerical scrolls. If you do not wish to set an alarm, set the alarm switch to OFF at the top of the screen.

  5. Select whether you would like Pillow to record the sounds you make while you are asleep by turning the "Audio Recordings" switch ON/OFF.

  6. Select whether you wish Pillow to start playing soothing sounds to help you fall asleep when starting a new sleep session by turning the "Sleep Aid" switch ON/OFF. You can also select the sleep aid you prefer by tapping on it, as well as the duration and the sound volume of the sleep aid via "Options".

  7. Once you have made your choice, tap on "Done" and the preset will become available for use.

  8. When you feel ready to go to bed and start tracking your sleep, tap "Start" and Pillow will begin its analysis.
