Can I Get a Refund?

Updated over a week ago

To request a refund you must contact Apple directly, as they do not provide us with the ability to process refunds. Only Apple can process refunds for purchases made through an Apple iCloud Account. Before you contact Apple please note that they do not normally refund subscriptions unless there is a gross error such as a duplicate or unauthorized purchase. Refunds are typically granted in limited cases, including technical issues, duplicate purchases, or clear errors, with the final decision depending on Apple's discretion. For more information, refer to Apple’s support documentation.

Canceling Your LogTen Subscription

If you need to cancel your subscription, follow these steps through your Apple device:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, or other Apple device.

  2. Tap on your name at the top to access Apple ID settings.

  3. Select Subscriptions.

  4. Locate your LogTen subscription in the list.

  5. Tap on it, then choose Cancel Subscription.

    • Confirm your choice to ensure the subscription won’t renew at the next cycle. Note: Apple does not permit LogTen to cancel subscriptions on your behalf, so these steps must be carried out by you.

You can contact Apple Customer Support directly at https://getsupport.apple.com/. When you get to this page, click "Billing & Subscriptions" followed by "Subscriptions & Purchases." Once here, you'll be given a variety of avenues through which you can contact Apple. If you believe you deserve a refund due to duplicate or unauthorized charges, visit https://support.apple.com/ and select Billing & Subscriptions > Subscriptions & Purchases. Follow the prompts to report the issue and provide necessary details to strengthen your case.

Stopping Automatic Renewals to Avoid Future Charges

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, turn off auto-renewal. This can be done at any time via your Apple device:

  1. Go to Settings and tap on your name (Apple ID).

  2. Navigate to Subscriptions.

  3. Find your LogTen subscription and toggle off the Auto-Renewal option. By disabling auto-renewal, your subscription will remain active until the current billing period ends, at which point it will be automatically canceled.

Key Considerations

  • Apple’s Role: As subscription billing is managed by Apple, LogTen is unable to intervene in cancellations, refunds, or billing discrepancies.

  • Timing Matters: Cancel your subscription or turn off auto-renew in advance to avoid unintended charges for the upcoming cycle.

  • Always ensure your Apple ID credentials are secured to prevent unauthorized transactions. For further assistance, refer to Apple Customer Support.
