Pilot Profile

The pilot profile is your set of qualifications used to match you with jobs. A complete and accurate profile will ensure that you see the best possible job opportunities on the jobs page.

The Pilot Profile contains the following sections:

  1. Personal Information: information about your right to work, ability to travel, etc.

  2. Certificates: information about your pilot certificate, medical certificate, and FCC license.

  3. Hours: hours summaries from the content of your LogTen logbook

To view your Pilot Profile, click on the Profile button in the LogTen Careers menu:

Updating your Personal Information

Select the Personal Data label at the top of the form.

  1. Name: this is used to provide a more personalized experience and may be used in the future when sharing your qualifications with potential employers.

  2. Location: this is used to provide a more personalized experience and may be used in the future when sharing your qualifications with potential employers.

  3. Right-to-Work: this is used to match you with jobs that require applicants to have a legal right to work in a specific country.

    1. Select any countries in which you have a legal right to work. This field supports more than one value.

  4. Ability to Travel: this is used to match you with jobs that require applicants to have a valid and unrestricted passport.

  5. Current Flight School: this is used to provide a more personalized experience and may be used in the future when sharing your qualifications with potential employers.

  6. Current College/University: this is used to provide a more personalized experience and may be used in the future when sharing your qualifications with potential employers.

  7. Cadet Membership: this is used to provide a more personalized experience and may be used in the future when sharing your qualifications with potential employers.

  8. Hit continue to save your updates.

Updating your Certificates Information

Hit "Continue" if on the Personal Data section, or select the Certificates label at the top of the form.

  1. Pilot Certificate Level: this is used to match you with jobs that require applicants to have a specific pilot certificate level.

  2. Category and Class Ratings: this is used to match you with jobs that require applicants to have a specific category and class rating.

    1. Select all category and class ratings that you hold for your current certificate level.

  3. Instrument Ratings: this is used to match you with jobs that require applicants to have a specific instrument rating.

    1. Select all instrument ratings that you hold for your current certificate level.

  4. FAA English Language Proficiency: this is used to match you with jobs that require an English language proficiency endorsement.

  5. FAA Medical Certificate: this is used to match you with jobs that require a minimum certificate class.

  6. FCC Restricted Radio Operator License: this is used to match you with jobs that require an FCC restricted radio operator license.

  7. Hit continue to save your updates.

Viewing your Hours information

  1. Hit continue if on the Certificate section, or select the Hours label at the top of the form.

  2. All of the information in this section is calculated from the flights logged in LogTen.

  3. The Hours information is used to match you with jobs that have specific hours requirements.
