What is Safety Hub?
Safety Hub is Pilotbase's unified safety product. This article explains who Safety Hub is for and how it sits inside the FSP shell.
Start at the Safety Dashboard
When you open SMS, you land on the Safety Dashboard — a metrics-rich command center for your safety program. It shows a Needs Attention row of clickable pills (overdue reports, high-risk hazards, overdue actions, overdue document reviews), a Flight Risk Assessments summary, a row of KPI stat tiles, and interactive charts (Reports by Status, Severity Distribution, Report Trend, and Reports by Operational Area) you can click to filter. Use it to triage at a glance and drill into the records that need work.
How Safety Hub fits inside FSP
Safety Hub works alongside Flight Schedule Pro. You sign in with your FSP credentials — there is no separate login. Your access to each module depends on the FSP permissions your administrator has assigned to your role.
Safety Hub (SMS) — Dashboard, Safety Reports, Hazards, Corrective Actions, Documents, Analytics, Risk Assessments, Weight and Balance, and Settings.
Note: You can complete a full FRAT in the web Safety Hub — create it, fill it in, score it, and submit it to completion. The high-risk go/no-go authorization step still happens in the Pilotbase mobile app (Preflight). The web Safety Hub is also your management and records layer for FRAT records and Weight and Balance submissions.
Who Safety Hub is for
Safety Hub serves everyone involved in your organization's safety operations:

Access is controlled on two levels in SMS:
Capability — what you can do (create, edit, manage) is set by your FSP role permissions.
Visibility — which records you can see is set by your Safety Team membership inside Safety Hub.
Safety Managers and the Accountable Executive can see all records across the organization. Everyone else sees only records routed to teams they belong to.
The safety loop
Safety Hub is designed around a closed safety loop:
Event triage → Safety Report → Hazard → Corrective Action → Document update → FRAT (next flight)
