So, you got an invoice... now what? π§
An invoice is a commercial billing statement issued by a seller to a buyer for services rendered. As a renter, you will receive a monthly invoice detailing the charges made to your account for the previous month.
What does the information on your invoice mean?
- In the top left corner of the invoice, you will find the following: - The invoice number 
 - Date of issue (this is the date the document was produced) 
- Date due (this is the date when the payment is due) 
 
- In the top left corner, you will see: - Billing information: contains your name/name of your company 
 - π Make sure this information is accurate and that you are receiving the correct bill. 
- At the center of the page, you will find an itemized list of the services rendered during the billing period, usually from the previous month. It includes: - Description: This includes the services you requested 
- Quantity (Qty): the number of times the service was requested during the month 
- Unit Price: how much it costs 
- Amount: the amount of money totaled for that request 
 
- At the end of the table, you will find: - Subtotal: how much it is for the requests 
- Tax: how much the state or local tax is 
- Total: The final total, including tax and any other fees
