📲 How Instant Redeem Offers Work – A Quick Guide for Staff
To make the redemption process as smooth as possible, here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how customers use Instant Redeem Offers through our app. This guide will help your team understand what to look for and how to validate redemptions properly.
✅ Step 1: User Opens the Offer
The customer will browse offers in the app and tap on an offer they want to redeem. If the offer is available for instant redemption, the button will clearly say “Instant Redeem.”
This means they can redeem the offer immediately—right then and there, on-site.
📍 Step 2: Location Confirmation
Once they tap “Instant Redeem,” the app will check if the user is within 100 meters of your venue.
If they are: The app will proceed to the countdown stage.
If they’re not: A message will pop up asking them to check their location and confirm that they’re physically at the venue.
⚠️ This ensures people aren’t trying to redeem offers remotely.
⏳ Step 3: 1-Hour Countdown Begins
Once the user is confirmed to be on-site, the offer becomes active and a 1-hour countdown timer appears on their screen.
This timer is proof the offer is valid.
They must show this screen to your staff within the 1-hour window to claim their offer. After this, it becomes invalid.
🚫 Step 4: Timer Expires = Offer No Longer Valid
If the 1-hour timer runs out before they show it to staff, the offer can no longer be used. The screen will indicate that the redemption period has ended.
At this point, the user is still required to upload their content to fulfill their side of the agreement.
👀 What Staff Should Look For
A live countdown timer on the user’s screen
Confirmation that it says “Valid” or clearly shows time remaining
Ensure the timer hasn't expired before giving out the offer
