When importing a dataset from a spreadsheet into your project on Leadspicker, you have the option to add custom variable fields. These fields can be highly beneficial for personalizing your outreach messages during campaigns. Here’s how to do it:

Preparing Your Dataset

  1. Fill Custom Fields:

    • Ensure that your dataset includes all the custom fields you want to use.

    • Save your file in CSV or XLSX format.

Importing Your Dataset

  1. Import your dataset file into Leadspicker.

  2. Check Column Names:

    • After importing, you will enter the columns edit window.

    • Verify that the platform has assigned the column names correctly.

Adding Custom Variable Fields

  1. Add Custom Fields:

    • Click on the ‘Add custom fields’ button on the right side.

    • Find the empty fields in your dataset and name them accordingly.

  2. Click on ‘save’ after naming each custom field.

  3. Finish Import:

  • Once all custom fields are named, click the blue “Finish Import” button.

  • Your data, including custom variable fields, will be imported into your project.

After the import, you can use these custom variable fields in your outreach messages to create more personalized and engaging communications.

Following these steps ensures that your data is accurately imported and ready to be utilized effectively in your messaging.
