When planning your outreach strategy, you can choose LinkedIn as an alternative to traditional email follow-ups. Here’s how to get started:

  1. Select LinkedIn: In the add step menu, choose the ‘LinkedIn’ option.

  2. Choose Your Outreach Method: Decide between visiting profiles, sending connection requests, or using InMail.

LinkedIn Outreach Options

  1. Profile Visits:

    • Select the visit option.

    • The platform will automatically visit all LinkedIn profiles within your project.

  2. Connection Requests with Personalized Notes:

    • Choose the “connect” step type.

    • Craft a brief, personalized message (up to 200 characters, including variable fields) to accompany your connection request.

  3. InMail Messages:

    • Select the InMail option for longer messages, up to 8000 characters.

    • Be mindful of the monthly limitations: approximately 15 InMail messages for standard profiles and around 50 for Sales Navigator accounts.

  4. Classic Messages to Existing Connections:

    • This method allows you to send direct messages to your existing LinkedIn connections.

    • Useful for engaging with contacts already in your network.

An effective LinkedIn outreach sequence often combines different methods. Here’s a recommended approach:

  1. Initial Profile visit:

    • Start with the “visit" step to visit leads profile, leaving them now you noticed them.

  2. Connection Request:

    • Continue with “connect” step to send a connection request with a personalized note.

  3. Follow-Up Message:

    • Add a “message” step a few days later.

    • This ensures leads who accept your connection request receive a follow-up message in their LinkedIn chat.
