FAQ: General Performance Issues in Pipedrive

Troubleshooting steps to common general performance issues

Written by Irina

1. Why am I seeing numbers instead of titles?

This usually happens due to a temporary glitch in the UI or a delay in data loading. If you see a number instead of an item's name, you're likely seeing its ID. For example, a Custom Field might show a number instead of its actual name.

Try the following:

If the issue continues, contact support with a screenshot.

2. Why are won/lost deals not showing the correct colors?

Color issues in deal statuses may occur due to:

  • Browser rendering problems.

  • Ui components not loading properly.

Try the following:

If colors are still incorrect, contact support and mention your OS, browser, and version.

3. What should I do when I see a “Something went wrong” page?

This page appears when the app encounters an unexpected error. To resolve:

  • Refresh the page.

  • Log out and log back in.

  • Try a different browser or device.

Still stuck? Reach out to support and include:

  • A screenshot of the error.

  • Steps taken before the issue appeared.

4. Search is not working—what can I do?

Search issues may relate to indexing delays or connection problems.

Try the following:

If search remains unresponsive, contact support with details about the search term and filters used.

5. Pipedrive is not loading or opening. What now?

First, rule out local issues:

If it still won’t load:

6. Why isn’t the celebration feature showing when I close a deal?

This can happen due to:

  • Browser settings blocking animations.

  • A slow or unstable browser.

Under Personal Preferences, confirm your Interface settings for “Show celebratory animation after every won deal." Then, try refreshing or checking in another browser.

If everything is set up correctly and the animation still won’t show, let support know so we can investigate.

7. The page just spins and doesn’t complete the task—what’s going on?

This “infinite loading” issue may mean:

  • A background request is stuck.

  • Network instability is blocking data load.

Steps to fix:

If it happens often, report it to support with:

  • The feature affected.
