If your automation failed or didn't run at all, you can use the Automations Overview dashboard to identify and fix the issue. This central dashboard provides full visibility and control over your automation health, activity, and failures in one view, replacing the need to review executions one by one or dig through history logs.
To open the dashboard, go to Tools and apps > Automations > Overview from the account menu in the top right corner.
Identifying Automation Issues in the Overview Dashboard
The Overview Dashboard serves as a central location to monitor automation health, identify failures, and troubleshoot issues without needing to review executions one by one.
You can manage and analyze your data using the following dashboard functionalities:
Time Range & Ownership Filters: At the top of the dashboard, adjust your view to analyze data from Today, the Last 7 days, or the Last 14 days. Global admins can switch between viewing all company automations or only those they own, while regular users can focus strictly on their own configurations.
Most Failed Automations Section: This area highlights recurring failures. Clicking on a failed automation opens a dedicated tab with a single click, showing when the issue started, how often it occurs, and the most common failure reason. It pinpoints the exact location of the error—such as a missing condition filter, a deleted pipeline stage, or a sequence limit constraint—and provides a direct link to fix or update the automation.
No Executions Section: This widget isolates automations that have not run at all during the selected time frame. It helps you quickly spot setups where conditions are no longer being met, or identify outdated configurations that need attention without digging into history logs.
Automation Health Chart: This visual section tracks trends, spikes, and changes in activity over time. By switching between the Summary view and the Daily view, you can see exactly how executions are distributed across statuses (such as done, failed, pending, or stopped) to catch developing issues early.
Enhanced History: Beyond the main widgets, the history view provides clear execution statuses and failure reasons. It includes a discarded status, which gives visibility into automations that didn’t run and which conditions blocked them. You can also search for these executions by a specific item, such as a deal, person, or organization.
