What is an email label?
Email labels are one of the many features Pipedrive has. Labels can be used to highlight your emails. Labels can be created, edited, and deleted by any user type. There is no permission setting restricting user access to email labels, and all labels are visible to every user in the account.
Will the labels created in my Pipedrive account be available in my provider/external email client?
Labels created in Pipedrive and those created in the user’s external email client are not connected, so those created in one will not appear in the other.
What is the use of email labels?
Email labels will help you to keep your emails organized in order to increase productivity. With email labels, you can filter and identify emails based on what they have in common, making it easier to find and sort them.
How can I create email labels?
You can create a new email label by clicking the label dropdown in the top right corner of your Pipedrive email inbox, and then selecting “Add new label.”
You can then apply that label to an email by opening the desired email, clicking the email icon next to the subject line, and selecting the label.
Multiple labels can be added to an email, but only three can be displayed simultaneously. If an email has more than three labels, the label dropdown must be opened to see all of them.
How can I edit or delete my email labels?
You can edit a label by hovering over it in the label dropdown and clicking the pencil icon. You can also change the name and color of the label, as well as delete it by clicking the trash can icon.
How can I filter and view my email labels?
Email labels can be seen to the left of the subject lines when viewing the synced emails in the Pipedrive inbox. You can select one or more email labels from the label dropdown in the top right corner of your inbox to filter your inbox by labels.
