This means you will be billed immediately after the seat has been added to your account. The charge you see will be a prorated charge reflecting the time remaining in your current subscription cycle.
If you are currently in a trial phase (for instance, a trial of a paid plan such as the Growth plan), charges for additional seats will only begin once the trial transitions into a paid subscription.
For example, if your monthly plan billing cycle starts on March 5th and you add an extra seat on March 20th, you will be charged a prorated amount on March 20th for the remaining days in the current billing cycle for the additional seat. Similarly, if your plan is billed annually, any new seats added will incur a prorated charge for the remainder of the annual period as of the addition date. During plan renewal on the original cycle end date, the total cost for all seats in your subscription will be billed in full.
You will see these changes and your billing update in your checkout summary. The checkout summary will display the prorated charges for any new seats added during the current billing cycle, as well as the updated total for the next billing period.
To review these changes and preview seat costs, navigate to Billing > Manage subscription within your Pipedrive account.
