“Cannot see a dashboard correctly”
Currently, there are no specific visibility groups designated for viewing items within Insights. When you establish visibility settings for a user regarding any item (deals, leads, people, organizations, and products), those settings also extend to their access within Insights. However, it’s important to ensure that you have the necessary permissions and visibility rights to view items in Insights.
If you are part of a team, confirm that your team’s administrator has granted you access to the feature. Permissions for Insights visibility can be found in your global user permissions under visibility. Learn more about visibility and permissions in Insights in this article.
“Insights table does not show all deals”
When reviewing lists in Insights, it's important to note that we load only 50 rows at a time. This means that initially when you order the table, it will only include the first 50 rows. However, as you scroll down, another 50 rows will load, and this process continues.
If you find the behavior is different than the one described above, please check the filters applied to confirm you selected exactly what you’re looking for. If further help is needed please reach out to support with evidence such as screenshots for further help.
“Why are my emails not showing in my activities performance report?”
Emails are not considered activities as default and that might be one reason why you are not seeing these marked in the report. You can still check the Insights Email Performance. This report will showcase exactly how many emails were sent and received.
“Custom field not showing”
Custom fields for filtering and creating reports in the visual builder, including measure by, group by, and segment by fields, are available in specific plans (check availability per plan here). However, all users have access to use deal custom fields in the table view. The fields supported for default and custom fields in deals in Insights are the following:
“Shareable Insights”
When you are building a report you can select whom you want to share it with. There are two options available for dashboard sharing in Pipedrive: internal sharing with selected users, all users or teams, and external sharing with a public link.
Sharing dashboards externally is only available by default to admin users. To allow non-admin users to create links, go to Manage Users > Permission sets, and enable the ”Share Insights dashboards as public links” permission. While visibility groups in Pipedrive dictate what users in your account can see, permission sets dictate what users in your account can do.
"Quick filters in the Dashboard"
If you see different values when looking at the Dashboard and while checking reports, the issue might be related to the quick filters that can be applied in the dashboard.
Applying filters within your dashboard does not modify the data embedded within the reports; instead, it solely adjusts the data presentation on the dashboard. This means you can use filters enabling you to customize the data displayed within your dashboard while maintaining the health of the data in the original reports. The same goes for removing a report from your dashboard. This action doesn’t delete it, you can still access and view it in your list of reports.
