If you’re having an issue while working with Pitch, there are a few things you can try to resolve it before getting in touch with support. The following steps often help if something isn’t working or if your experience is inconsistent between the web and desktop apps.

💡 A fresh start is always a good idea! Reloading the web app in your browser or the desktop app might resolve an issue with Pitch.

Important: While logging out and back into your account is sometimes effective to resolve an issue, we recommend not taking that step if you’re experiencing issues with syncing or saving your changes. Please follow the steps in this article for syncing or saving errors.

Let’s start troubleshooting

On the web app:

  1. Reload the page in your browser.

  2. Log out and back in to your account. Please note: If you’re experiencing syncing issues, don’t log out and follow these steps instead.

  3. Check your browser for updates. Pitch works best with current browser versions.

On the desktop app:

  1. Check the app for updates. Click on Pitch > Check for updates, or select Check for updates in the workspace menu.

  2. Force-reload the desktop app by pressing Shift + Command + R or clicking View > Force Reload on the macOS app. On Windows, press Ctrl + R.

  3. Log out and back in to your account. Please note: If you’re experiencing syncing issues, don’t log out and follow these steps instead.
