Restriction Popup (Upgrade Required)

Understanding Restrictions and Access Limits in Pitchly

At Pitchly, we strive to ensure a seamless experience when using integrations, applications, and other platform capabilities. However, certain limitations may apply depending on your subscription level, permissions, or usage volume. When you encounter a popup that says "Upgrade Required," it means you've reached one of these predefined limits.

Why You Might See the Restriction Popup

You may encounter this message due to one or more of the following reasons:

Integration or Application Access

  • If your account does not have the necessary permissions or is not part of a subscription tier that includes access to specific integrations or applications, you'll see a notification informing you of this restriction.

  • For example, some third-party integrations (such as CRM tools or cloud storage connectors) may only be available to users on a certain plan.

Record Limits in Tables or Data Sets

  • Each table or dataset in Pitchly has a maximum number of active records allowed, based on your plan or workspace configuration. Archived records do not count towards maximum record counts.

  • If your dataset exceeds this limit, the system will display a restriction notice, and further data may not be added until space is cleared or your plan is upgraded.

  • If a record limit is reached and your workspace has an integration with a source system that adds records, that import will be paused and an email notification will be sent to the account admin.

Total Image Upload Size

  • Our platform supports adding images to records, templates, and other assets. However, there's a cap on total image file size across your workspace at 1GB. For example, if you upload one image that is 1GB or multiple images that add to 1GB, you meet maximum capacity.

  • Once that threshold is crossed, further uploads will be restricted, and you'll see a popup notification.

What You Can Do

If you encounter this message, here are a few steps you can take:

  • Contact an Admin: If you're part of a team, your workspace admin may need to grant you additional permissions or make upgrades.

  • Optimize Data Usage: Consider cleaning up unused data, images, or records to stay within the allowed limits.

  • Reach Out to Support: If you're unsure why you're seeing a restriction or need help evaluating your options, contact our support team for assistance at support@pitchly.com

Pitchly aims to make restrictions clear and actionable. Every restriction popup includes a short explanation and, where applicable, a link to learn more or upgrade your access.

If you believe you’re seeing a restriction in error, or if your needs have grown beyond the current plan, don’t hesitate to connect with our support team or your account manager.
