When Pixlmob initially launched, we chose to only display the 1st word of the customer's company to editors on the platform. For example, if a company's name was North 7th, the editor would only see North listed as the name for the customer on an order.
In order to provide additional clarity and to prepare for upcoming features we intend to add to the platform soon, we have decided to change how customers' names are displayed to vendors. Starting 4/29/2025, editors will now see the individual's first name instead of the first word of the company's name. For example, prior to this date, vendors would see North for North 7th; after this date, vendors will see Brad instead of North since Brad is the 1st name of the user associated with that company on the Pixlmob platform.
Pro-tip: It is always best to address a customer by his name and to avoid using terms like bro, sir/ma'am, or boss.
