This new service combines AI editing + Human mastery to create high-quality HDR images.

How it works:

  • An AI model will edit the customer's HDR images.

  • Once the AI model is done, you'll be notified to begin the order.

  • You'll review all of the edited images and check for quality (alignment, white balance, color correction, etc.).

  • You will edit any images that need corrections. Not all images will need editing.

  • You'll also complete any additional options ordered by the customer, such as Sky Replacement, Fire in Fireplaces, and TV Screen Replacement. These are included at no extra cost.

  • When finished, you'll deliver the images to the customer who can request additional revisions from you if needed.

When can I get started on the order?

Once the AI model is done rendering the images, you'll be able to access those files and can begin working on the order.

How will I know I have a new order?

You'll be notified when the customer places an order for this service, just like you're currently notified of new orders.

Does my deadline include the time it takes the AI model to edit the images?

No, the turnaround time you set for this service is for the work you will do, and does not include the time needed by the AI model to render the images. The deadline for your order doesn't begin until the AI model is finished.

What's included with this service?

You'll need to review all of the images rendered by the AI model and make appropriate corrections that might have been missed or edited incorrectly by the AI model. This includes:

  • Vertical and horizontal straightening

  • Color correction | White balance

  • Brightness and contrast adjustment

  • Lens distortion correction

  • Lens spot removal

  • Sky Replacement

  • Fire in Fireplaces

  • TV Screen Replacement

Are there any add-ons for this service?

No, there are not currently any add-ons for this service. However, the customer does have the option to ask for Sky Replacement, TV Screen Replacement, and Fireplace Composite. These are available at no extra cost.

How does pricing work for this service?

The customer pays the rate set by the AI model + pays the rate you set for this service. You do not receive any of the funds paid for the AI editing.

Are there any additional fees for these orders?

No, there are no additional fees charged to you (or to the customer) for this service.

Can I still accept regular HDR orders if I also offer this service?

Absolutely! You can still continue to offer Blended Bracket editing as well as ASAP editing in addition to this service.

What should I do if all the images in the order need to be re-edited?

If the AI model failed to render the order correctly (for example, pink noise covering most of the images), you should initiate a cancellation request (not a dispute). You can learn how to initiate a cancellation request here. You should not re-edit all of the images.

Can I submit the images back to AI to be re-rendered?

No, you cannot re-submit the images to the AI model to be re-rendered. If the AI model failed to edit some of the images correctly, you should download the original raw files from the order and edit the images.

How many images in the order should I re-edit?

You should edit each image that needs correction. However, not all images in an order will need correction. For example, out of 30 images in the order, 3 of them might need Sky Replacement, 1 needs TV Screen Replacement, and 7 need white balance correction. You only need to edit those images that need correcting.

What should I do if none of the images in the order need additional editing or corrections?

That's great! If you're confident that all of the images are of the highest possible quality and standard, you can deliver the images to the customer. You'll still get paid for all of the images in the order.

Can the customer request revisions?

Yes, just like all other services, the customer will have 3 days to request revisions, dispute the order, or to approve it.

If the AI does a bad job at editing the images, will the customer think it's my fault?

If the images rendered by the AI model are unusable and cannot be corrected, you should initiate a cancellation request (not a dispute) and you should not proceed with editing any images from the order. If you do decide to edit the images even though the AI model failed to render them correctly, any quality concerns will reflect on you, not the AI model.
