How Does Auto-Approval Work, and What Are the Steps to Manage It Effectively?

When managing projects on Pixlmob, understanding the auto-approval process and how to handle it effectively are crucial. This article provides an overview of how auto-approval works and what to do if a project is marked as complete.

Overview of Auto-Approval

Auto-approval is a feature designed to streamline project workflows and ensure editors are paid in a timely manner. Once an editor delivers the final edits for your project, you have 3 days to review the delivered work. After 3 days, the system automatically approves the project and it is marked as completed.

Your Options Prior to Auto-Approval

When an editor delivers your project, you have 3 days to take one of the following actions:

  1. Approve the Project: If you're satisfied with the editor's work, do no require additional revisions, and are ready to close out the project, you can approve it by clicking the Approve Edits button. You are not required to wait for the project to auto-approve.

  2. Request Revisions: Submit revision tickets for the changes that need to be done. This will change the order status to "Requested Revisions" and pause the auto-approval timer to allow the editor to make the necessary changes.

  3. Submit a Dispute: If there are significant issues with the delivered work after you've attempted revisions, you can file a dispute to halt the auto-approval process.

Important Note: Sending a message to the editor does not stop the 3-day auto-approval timer.

What Happens After Auto-Approval

Once the 3-day period has passed and the project is auto-approved, it is marked as complete. At this stage:

  • You cannot reopen the project.

  • Further revisions cannot be requested.

  • It can no longer be disputed or refunded.

If additional changes are needed after the project is marked as complete, you must create a new order to address those changes.

Additional Actions for Further Changes

If you missed the 3-day window and the project has been auto-approved, the only option to make further changes is to initiate a new order. This ensures that any additional work is properly tracked and managed within the Pixlmob system. By understanding and managing the auto-approval process effectively, you can ensure that your projects meet your expectations and avoid unnecessary complications.
