Say goodbye to hours spent poring over batch data and let PLAATO Benchmarks run the analysis for you!

How does this help me?

We all understand the importance of consistency and how complex it can be to maintain. Changes in temperature, yeast health and fermentation time are just some of the variables that can affect the consistency of your recipe. Frequent tracking and analysis are key to ensuring you deliver the best and most consistent product every time.

PLAATO Recipe Benchmarks runs the tracking and analysis for you and it's intelligent algorithms will give you quick insights into any sign of early deviation so you can take action before it impacts the final product.

How does it work?

This intuitive new feature compares your current batch with previous batches of the same recipe, showing how your brew is expected to progress based on your past data. The system automatically excludes batches with bad or missing data from your recipe benchmark.

As shown in the above image, the benchmark is displayed as a shadow underlaying your density and fermentation activity graph. The qualifying batches used to determine your recipe benchmark are detailed in both the Batch Log and in the recipe page.

PLAATO Benchmarks will also alert you to any deviations on your fermenter overview. Your fermenter will turn red if we detect significant deviation between the benchmark and the current batch readings. You'll also see this reflected in your batch log and timeline.

This feature requires at least three batches of one recipe to begin it's tracking and analysis. The more you brew and track, the more accurate and useful your benchmarks will become.

Please note that PLAATO Benchmarks is a beta feature and if you have any questions or feedback regarding the benchmarks - please reach out to us through the “Give feedback” button on web or through “Feedback” in the Account section on mobile.
