In the Pladia Console, each Object can be linked to a Creator in your collection. While you can add Creators on the spot when creating an Object, many users prefer to add all Creators beforehand for a smoother setup experience.
Steps to add Creators in the Pladia Console
Select Creators from the left navigation in the Console.
Select Create Creator on the right-hand side of the screen.
Add your Creator Name, Dates, External ID (the ID associated with the Creator in all other systems of record), and Hero Image.
Once completed, select Save New from the lower right hand corner of the screen. This Creator is saved and ready to be attached to an Object.
To note: You will still need to Release your public bundle with your changes in the Releases screen to make it visible to your visitors.
Repeat this process until you have updated all Creators within a particular Venue.
To edit a Creator, click the three dots to the right of the Creator name, select Edit Creator, and execute all changes within the pop-up screen.
Once finished, select Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Pro Tip: After adding your Objects to the Console and associating them with Creators, you will be able to view a list of all Objects associated with a particular Creator under Appearances tab as shown.
Delete unwanted Creators
Deleting unwanted Creators will remove the files from the Console, PWA and will also remove any attachment it has to Objects.
To delete the Creator:
Open your Creator Library and click the context menu (three dots) next to an item
Select ‘Delete’ to remove it from the Console.
You can also use the context menu from the item detail page to select delete.
Release your changes
If the item is referenced in the PWA, you’ll need to release your changes.
Any Objects that reference the deleted item will appear in the Release list for review. Once released, the change will only affect new users of the PWA, avoiding disruption for current visitors.If the item isn’t referenced in the PWA, no release is required.
