There are two types of surrogacy we can help you with

At Plaid, we assist with both traditional surrogacy and gestational surrogacy. Here’s what they mean:

  • Traditional Surrogacy: In traditional surrogacy, the surrogate uses her own egg, meaning she’s genetically related to the child. We understand that this arrangement can add a bit of complexity, but don’t worry—we’re experts in managing these details and making sure everyone’s rights are fully protected.

  • Gestational Surrogacy: In gestational surrogacy, the surrogate carries an embryo that isn’t genetically hers. This type is often preferred because of the legal clarity it offers. We’ll guide you through every step to make sure everything is in place for a smooth process.

No matter which type of surrogacy you choose, we’re here to provide the legal expertise you need, so you can focus on the joyful parts of the journey!
