The Coverage Snapshot report is for managing and reviewing the distribution of licenses and skills across different employees.

Accessing the Coverage Snapshot

  1. Navigate to the reports section: Start by accessing the main menu on the left side of your dashboard. Look for the 'Reports' or 'License & Skill Reports' section.

  2. Selecting skills or licenses : Select whether you want to view the license or skills

πŸ’‘ What are skills vs licenses ? Skills refer to competencies or abilities such as financial analysis, or customer service. Licenses are formal permissions or certifications that authorize individuals to perform specific tasks like a HIPAA Certification, or a Drivers License.

Understanding the report layout

  • Columns represent skills/licenses: Each column in the report corresponds to a different skill or license

  • License or skill counts: The numbers in each cell show the count of licenses or skills an individual has in each state. A green check mark indicates the presence of a valid license or skill.

πŸ’‘ A person's licenses or skills that are expired will not show up in the coverage report.

Using the report

  • Filtering data: Use the filter option at the top of the report to narrow down the data by specific criteria such as name, state, or number of licenses.

  • Grouping data: You can group the data by different attributes using the 'Group by' drop-down to better organize and view the data according to your needs.

πŸ’‘ How does filtering work? Filtering is typically applied to the people in the report. For example if you filter by "team" you will only see the coverage report for people in the given team

Downloading the Report

  • Export options: Click on the 'Download Report' button located at the top right of the report to export the data. You can typically choose formats such as CSV or PDF.

πŸ’‘ Does filtering and grouping affect my downloaded data? Yes! As a rule in Planbase any filters, grouping or sorting will carry-over to your downloaded data.
