How to access and use the Hours reporting in Planbase

The Total On Shift Hours report is a tool for managing and analyzing the hours employees spend on shifts or engaged in specific activities.

Accessing the total On Shift Hours report

Selecting report visibility
Choose to view either all data or only the hours that have been published to staff ("Published Only").

Understanding the report layout

  • Columns Represent Dates: Each column corresponds to a different date

  • Hours Count: The numbers in each column show the total hours an individual has worked or participated in activities on each date.

Using the report

  • Filtering data: Use the filter option at the top of the report to narrow data by specific criteria such as team or role

  • Grouping Data: Use the 'Group by' drop-down to organize the data by different attributes.

๐Ÿ’ก How does filtering work? Filtering is typically applied to the people in the report. For example if you filter by "team" you will only see the coverage report for people in the given team

Downloading the Report

  • Click the 'Download Report' button at the top right to export the data
