Employees can connect their Google Calendar using the Planbase Slack app or through the Planbase web application.
Using the Planbase Web Application
Navigate to your profile by clicking the profile icon in the top right toolbar. Click on the Connect to GCal
button and follow the instructions. Once successful green text will appear under the button to show you that you are connected.
Using the Planbase Slack App
Start in Slack Begin by accessing the Planbase Slack app. Type 'help' to view all available commands, and then type 'connect calendar'.
Connecting your calendar After selecting 'connect calendar,' click the button that appears saying 'connect calendar'. This action will open a new tab in your web browser prompting you to connect your Google Calendar.
Follow the connection steps In the new browser tab, click 'connect to gcal'. Follow the Google authentication prompts by clicking 'next', then 'continue', and finally 'continue' again.
Finalize and troubleshoot Look for a success message at the bottom of the page indicating that the calendar connection is complete. If any other messages appear or if there are issues during the connection process, please contact Planbase support for assistance.
