πŸ“£πŸ“£ Only employees with self-scheduling enabled can submit their own schedule.

Accessing your schedule

Employees should submit their schedule through the Planbase web application. The fastest way to get there is through Slack. Use the planbase command to automatically open a new browser tab with your calendar in your configured current timezone.

Submitting and editing your schedule

Navigate to the week which you'd like to submit your schedule for and then select the PROPOSE NEW SCHEDULE option from the quick access dropdown at the bottom of the page

Input your desired schedule for the week into the modal. You can use the Add entry options if you would like to work multiple different shifts on the same day. If you already have submitted shifts which have been approved they will be pre-populated for you to keep or edit and you can also include time off requests.

You can request to cancel existing shifts or PTO using the πŸ—‘οΈ icon. Requested cancellations will be denoted like below:

ℹ️ ℹ️ For employees working a flexible schedule you will only be prompted to add total hours and not the start time of your shifts.

Once you are ready to submit your schedule click the Next Step button at the bottom of the page to validate your schedule. Once your schedule can be auto-approved you'll see a green callout at the top of the page. If your schedule cannot be auto-approved you'll see an amber callout which clearly indicates which changes are needed to continue.

Make any necessary changes and click the Submit Schedule button when you are ready for your schedule to be processed. Your schedule will automatically be added to your schedule, or sent to a manager if further approval is required.
