Start the connection Log into Planbase, navigate to settings via the cog icon on the left-hand side, and select the Slack option. If not already connected, click the 'Connect' button to initiate the integration.

Authorize and confirm In Slack, authorize the connection by selecting your workspace and a channel for updates like 'Open Shifts' (you will need to create a channel before connecting Slack and Planbase). After allowing access, confirm that Slack shows as connected in Planbase settings.

Finalize and verify Back in Slack, verify the integration by checking for a notification in the selected channel and ensuring the Planbase app appears under 'Apps'. If it's missing, manually add it through 'Add Apps'.
