How to enable portal access for a client

You can enable (and disable) portal access on an individual basis.

First, go into the Lead or Project for the client you want to enable portal access for.

Under Project Setup, click Collaborate.

You might see Link to Contact for the client you want to enable portal access for. If so, click on Link To Contact and you'll be prompted to find or create a Contact record for this person.

βš™οΈ By default, client portal access is disabled when you add a client or contact to a project. You get to choose when you want it enabled for them.

To enable the client portal, click the portal toggle switch (currently showing in the disabled state).

Planpage will ask you to enter or confirm an email address for this person. This email address is where the portal invitation will be sent. Click Send Invite.
