Invoice Payment Schedules

Our flexible payment schedule builder can handle any situation.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Invoice Payment Schedules in Planpage allow you to structure client payments in a way that reflects your real-world contracts. Whether you collect a retainer upfront, split payments into milestones, or create custom installment plans, Planpage gives you the flexibility to build almost any payment schedule.

First Payment as an Advance (Deposit or Retainer)

Planpage allows you to designate the first payment as an advance. By toggling the setting “First payment is an advance (deposit or retainer)”, the system automatically marks the first payment accordingly. You can then choose:

  • Your preferred terminology: Retainer or Deposit

  • Whether it is Refundable or Non-refundable

This language appears clearly on your Invoice and related documents, ensuring your payment terms are communicated accurately.

Flexible Due Date Options

Each payment can have its own due date, with multiple options available. These options allow you to create payment schedules that align with proposal deadlines, event timing, or contract milestones.

Flexible Amount Options

Each payment can also have its own amount structure. This gives you the flexibility to build simple percentage-based schedules, milestone payments, or evenly split installment plans.

Built to Support Real-World Billing

Invoice Payment Schedules in Planpage are designed to handle a wide range of payment structures while keeping everything organized and professional. From advance retainers to final balance payments tied to event dates, your entire billing structure can live inside one connected system.
