What is the Task Dashboard?
The Task Dashboard gives you one place to review tasks across all of your projects and leads, without opening each event individually. Use it to quickly see what needs attention, stay on top of upcoming deadlines, and review recently completed tasks.
My Tasks & Client Tasks
The Task Dashboard includes two views to help you stay on top of work across all of your projects and leads:
My Tasks shows every task assigned to you, giving you one place to review your own upcoming deadlines and priorities.
Client Tasks shows every task assigned to a client, making it easy to see what clients still need to complete and where a follow-up may be needed.
Open & Completed tasks
Use the Open and Done tabs to switch between active and completed tasks.
Finding the tasks you need
The Task Dashboard includes several ways to narrow down the list. These filters make it easier to focus on the tasks that matter most without losing sight of everything happening across your account.
Search by task name
Filter by task status
Filter by project or lead
View overdue, today, tomorrow, upcoming, or tasks without a due date
Updating Multiple Tasks at Once
Use Bulk Updates when you need to make the same change to several tasks. Select the tasks you want to update, then choose a bulk action to:
Change their status
Delete tasks that are no longer needed
Any changes made from the Task Dashboard are also reflected within the original project or lead.
F.A.Q.
Does the Task Dashboard create duplicate tasks?
No. It provides a combined view of the tasks already saved within your projects and leads.
Why isn’t a task appearing under My Tasks?
The task must be assigned to you to appear in My Tasks. Unassigned tasks or tasks assigned only to another staff member or client will not appear there.
Which tasks appear under Client Tasks?
Client Tasks includes tasks assigned to at least one client on a project.
Does changing a task here update the project?
Yes. The dashboard and the individual project or lead display the same task, so updates are reflected in both places.
What happens to tasks without a due date?
They appear in the No Due Date group so they are still easy to find and update.
Can I create a new task from this page?
Yes. Click the New Task button at the top of your screen. After it is created, the task may not appear in your current view if it does not match the filters you have selected. For example, it may be assigned to a client while you are viewing My Tasks, or it may be hidden by the selected status, project, or due-date filter. Adjust or clear your filters to find it.
