When creating, moving, and editing spaces, the 'snap' feature allows you to easily place a space adjacent to other spaces or walls. When you place a space close to another space, wall, or other architectural element, you will see a circle appear. When you release the space, it will ‘snap’ to the adjacent element.

Disabling Snapping Temporarily

If you need to turn off snapping for a specific action, simply manipulate items while pressing the Control (PC) or Command (Mac) key. You will no longer see the blue snapping circle appear.

Turn snap feature off

To turn snapping off for the test fit you’re working on, open the left-hand panel, open 'Settings', and uncheck the box next to ‘Snap to objects.’

Snapping Furniture

When the "snap" feature is turned on and you are in furniture mode, you will see furniture alignment guides in red allowing for quick and easy precision when moving furniture within a space.

When the "snap" feature is turned off and you are in furniture mode, furniture will move freely within the space allowing for pieces to be placed without restriction.
