To combine or merge multiple spaces, select the adjacent spaces you’d like to combine and then click the ‘Combine’ button or use the shortcut key ‘C.’
Any combined spaces will take the properties of the first space you have selected. For the below example, when combining these two spaces, the resulting space is an office, as I selected the blue office area before the conference room.
