If you are unable to force a shutdown or reboot your Ivy planter by pressing the back button for 10 seconds, please follow the appropriate steps below based on your Ivy’s manufacturing date.
For Ivy Manufactured Before March 2025
Disconnect Power: If holding the back button doesn’t work, disconnect Ivy from the power source.
Wait for Residual Power to Deplete: Leave Ivy disconnected for at least two hours to ensure all residual power is depleted (until the backlight turns off completely).
Reconnect Power: Reconnect Ivy to the power source but do not attempt to turn it on immediately.
Wait and Power On: Wait at least 20 more minutes before pressing the back button to start Ivy.
For Ivy Manufactured After March 2025
Find the small, round Reset button at the bottom of Ivy, labeled with the word "Reset."
Press the button once, and your Ivy will reset automatically.
