Question: What should I do if the ice packets in my delivery are empty?

Answer: It’s perfectly normal for the ice packets to be empty upon delivery. We use dry ice, which is frozen carbon dioxide, to keep your box at around -80°C during transit. By the time it arrives, the dry ice usually sublimates into gas, so the packets are often empty when you open the box. Occasionally, you might see some small bits of dry ice left, but most of the time it will be completely gone by the time your meals arrive, and that’s exactly how it’s designed to work.
