What documents do I need for identity verification?

To verify your identity you'll need to provide:

  • Your full legal name

  • Your date of birth

  • Your government-issued ID (passport, national identity card, or photo ID)

  • Your country and residential address

  • Your proof of address (required in certain countries):

    • The document must clearly display your residential address.

    • It must be issued within the last 3 months to ensure recency.

You'll also complete a liveness check, a short video movement capture to confirm your identity.

Verification typically takes up to a maximum of 5 minutes. You'll be notified once it's complete.

General Guidelines for Submission

  • Submit a clear and legible copy of the document to avoid delays in the verification process.

  • Ensure that all details, including your name and address, are visible and match the information provided during registration.

  • Ensure that the document is current and not expired.- Use the original physical document (not a screenshot, printout, or photocopy).

  • Ensure the photo is clear, with all information readable and all four corners of the document visible.

  • Take the photo against a neutral background in good lighting, avoiding glare or shadows.- If your ID is expired, you can use another valid document, such as a passport, while waiting for your ID renewal. Submit the valid document through the app to complete verification.- Do not submit screenshots of your ID. Always upload a clear, original photo of the physical document.

Your identity verification is processed automatically using a third party service provider. If you have questions about the outcome, you have the right to request a human review. For more details, see our Privacy Policy .

Age-Related Eligibility

  • If you are under 18, changing or resubmitting your ID will not alter the verification decision, as it is based on age eligibility. You can reapply once you turn 18.
