My KYC for virtual accounts is under review. What do I do?

Virtual bank accounts may sometimes require an additional verification step beyond your standard Plasma One KYC, prompting Manual Review. Reviews are usually completed within 72 hours. This process ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and activates your account for deposits and transfers across multiple currencies, such as SEPA, Faster Payments, USD, and SPEI.

Steps to Complete Virtual Account Verification

  1. Access the Verification Flow: Log in to your Plasma One account and navigate to the virtual account verification section.

  2. Provide Required Information: Submit the necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) details, which may include:

    • A valid government-issued ID

    • Proof of address (e.g., utility bill or bank statement)

    • A selfie for identity confirmation

  3. Submit Your Details: Once all required information is uploaded, submit the verification form.

  4. Wait for Approval: Plasma One’s banking partner will review your submission. Once approved, your virtual account will be activated.

While your virtual account KYC is under review:

  • You can see the status in the app under Add Cash by clicking on the currency in question. If we need more information from you, you'll be prompted in the app.

  • If your review has been pending for more than 72 hours, follow the escalation instructions provided in the app.

  • Rejected deposits may indicate incomplete verification. Ensure all required documents are submitted and approved.

  • You can still use your card, deposit USDT or USDC, and access all other Plasma One features

  • Short delays, such as a few minutes after submission, are normal and do not require any action.

  • Do not resubmit your documents unless the app specifically requests additional information. Unnecessary resubmission may delay the process further.

You'll be notified with push notification (if enabled) once your virtual accounts are ready to use.
