Fiat deposits may be placed under review for compliance checks. This is standard for new accounts, larger transfers, or transfers that don't match expected activity.
Additionally, deposits originating from sanctioned entities may also be flagged for review to ensure compliance with Plasma's Terms of Service and applicable sanctions requirements.
While your deposit is under review:
You don't need to do anything unless we contact you. Look out for an email or in-app requests for information.
The funds aren't lost. They'll be credited or returned once review is complete.
Reviews typically take 24 hours.
Documentation That May Be Requested During Review
Source of Funds: Provide evidence such as crypto exchange statements, payslips, or bank statements showing salary deposits.
Source of Wealth: A brief description of how you accumulated your overall wealth.
Transaction Details: Information about the exchange or bridge used before the deposit and the nature of those transactions.
Proof of Address: Submit one of the following documents dated within the last three months:
Bank statement from a traditional bank
Credit card statement from a traditional bank
Utility bill (gas, electricity, water, or internet)
Government-issued letter or correspondence
Additional Supporting Documentation: This may include bank statements, exchange transaction history, or other relevant documents.
If we need more information from you, you'll be notified in the app. Contact support if your deposit has been under review for more than 36 hours.
You can also reply to the verification email with the requested details to expedite the process.
