Overview
You can manage your XPL directly from the Plasma One app. To access your XPL options, go to the Tiers tab and tap Manage XPL.
Convert (buy and sell)
The Convert feature allows you to buy XPL using your USD cash balance, or sell XPL back to USD.
To buy XPL:
Go to the Tiers tab and tap Manage XPL
Tap Convert
Enter the amount of USD you want to spend
Review the live exchange rate and the amount of XPL you will receive
Confirm the transaction
To sell XPL:
Go to the Tiers tab and tap Manage XPL
Tap Convert
Enter the amount of XPL you want to sell
Review the live exchange rate and the amount of USD you will receive
Confirm the transaction
Conversions are executed onchain from your wallet through a third-party decentralized-exchange aggregator (0x), not by Plasma. The rate you receive reflects available liquidity, spreads, slippage and network fees, and may differ from the rate displayed. Once confirmed onchain, a conversion cannot be reversed.
Deposit
You can deposit XPL (wXPL or native XPL) into your Plasma One account from an external wallet.
Important: Depositing any other asset may result in permanent loss of funds.
To deposit XPL:
Go to the Tiers tab and tap Manage XPL
Tap Deposit
Copy your Plasma One deposit address
Send XPL from your external wallet to that address
Before sending, make sure your external wallet supports XPL and has the asset added. If your wallet does not support the asset, the funds will not appear in your wallet even though they will have been sent.
Send
You can send XPL to any wallet address on Plasma mainnet or directly to another Plasma One user by their username.
To send XPL:
Go to the Tiers tab and tap Manage XPL
Tap Send
Enter the recipient's Plasma mainnet wallet address or Plasma One username
Enter the amount of XPL you want to send
Review and confirm the transaction
Important: If you are sending to an external wallet, make sure the wallet supports the XPL asset. Even if the transfer is successful, the XPL may not appear in the recipient's wallet if the asset isn’t supported by the wallet.
Sending to a Plasma One username is instant.
What if a transaction fails?
If a buy, deposit, send, or convert transaction fails, you will receive a notification. You can try the transaction again. If you continue to experience issues, contact our support team and we will help you resolve it.
